YES. This has been a good experience in the seminary. I have been trying my level best to cop up with seminary life after a break of three and half years. I find this is the most difficult thing to do by me. I just cannot think about living there for a long time. I just get frustrated to be there in the seminary. The students in the seminary have no much knowledge about anything that is going on outside the seminary walls. Anything you ask them, they would just smile about anything. I have been trying my best to do things for them. But nothing works out. Because many of them too little to think. Some do not know how to read and write even Malayalam. Most of them find difficult even to write Malayalam without spelling mistake. I wonder how they could be admitted in the seminary. Now this is a big difficult process to make them study the alphabets. What can be done I wonder sometimes.
The students who have been in the seminary now for some years, find difficulty to study things properly in the college. Some got the least marks in the college. Hmmmmm I just do not know what they are doing during the study times. Even some do not know the apostles creed. I just started to teach them basic catechism in the seminary. Every day one or the other prayers. Now every week I have to keep them some exams of what I teach them on the week days.
Now I have been in Kerala for visa to go to South Africa. I have submitted my papers and waiting for visa to come. I do not know what is going on there with the paper works. Recently we had our area meeting and in it I expressed my displeasure about it. Now I know that there are many who do not like this travel agent. There is proposal from the area that he should be changed. Because his people do not work properly in Delhi. So now when there is one more brother who would apply for his visa and there is an agreement that his visa work would be dealt with another visa agent. I will wait to see how this is going to work that if it works smoothly our present travel agent will have bad time with us.
Though I have left Vasai for some times, people from Vasai goes on calling me. That they wanted me there when they celebrated Onam. One of my companion was there, but he was not in good connection with people. Though he travelled a long and had come for Onam celebrations, he did not visit many families. So there were lots of complaints about him. Now I have decided to make a visit to Vasai. I am on my way to Vasai. I started on 14th of this month. I started by 10 in the morning from seminary to railway station. The train is just 45 minutes late. This train is full AC and very cheap rate. Some 700 rupees to travel from Kerala to Bombay. The train is not full. But I had a bad night. Because there were some girls on other side and their mothers so they kept the light on. And in the morning all ladies started talk. Even now when I am typing these things they still goes on gossip about past an d jack fruit and things all they want to talk. What a tragedy for me to be here. I hope that the train would reach on time. I have ticket booked till the last station. But I will not go till there. I am planning to get down at Thane and then take bus to Vasai. Because I would reach in the evening only in the last station. And to take a local train in the evening is just like committing a big mistake. Let me see what will happen. The train fast and still better.

Instead of going to the city of Mumbai, I got down at thane and got into a bus. There was Malayalee man in that bus and he gave me direction where to get down and all. The travelling was good. I reached the house around 5 in the evening. I feel it. Because I was here almost one full year and it look likes my own house. Because the people are very lovely. After a shower and a good coffee, I came to another house where our bike is being kept. I took it and visited some families. For some of them it was a very big surprise. Because I did not inform many of them that I would be coming to Vasai. I came to one of the house, where they had a singing practise because it was going to be one month after their mother passed away. So next day I had to celebrate the Eucharist in remembrance of her. So I had a longer time there. I came to another house for having my dinner. Indeed it was good. I came to my room around 1 in the night because I had a long time chat in different families.

I got up around 7 in the morning and came to the house where they had promised for my breakfast. But as I reach there, they are not yet got up. I wait there and I could connect my computer with the internet connection. I had sometime opened my email. And they have down loaded some movies for me. It’s still in the computer; I did not watch not even a single movie, for I do not like to watch movies alone. Mass at 11 in the St. Michael’s Parish, Manikpur. They had a choir; a boy was playing the keyboard. But the mike system was not good. After the Eucharistic celebration I went to that house again for dinner. Indeed a very good group of people. It was good to be there with them. After the meal I came back to the room. Again in the afternoon visiting. In the evening I visited one Marathi family. This particular family, the lady of the family is the cook of that parish, where I did my diaconate ministry. They were very happy to see me. I had a very small time there, because I had to come back to another family for dinner. They had called some five or six families to share dinner with me. This particular family is also going to Holy land. So we had a rosary prayed together. And then dinner. Its Kerala special Porotta and Beef curry. It tastes good. I had brought Ice cream for all. Again going to visit families in the night. I had to visit a particular family of a computer man. I gave my computer to him to add new programs. He installed almost all the adobe programs for me, of course free of coast. I had a long talk with him because he is a “miracle worker”. I had a long talk about devil spirit and mission and casting out devil and so on. He shared about his experience. It went up to 2 in the morning.
