middleburg

Yesterday we went to Middle burg. Somewhat 200 KM away from here. We started our journey at 6 in the morning. We reached there safely. We had a sister who also came with us for some treatment. The journey here is a boring thing. Because only in the towns you can find people. When the town is over we see none on the road. Huge land of empty field. This is really boring. Only thing that this year SA had good rain and so everything is very green. As we reach Fr. John was there. He is the only American missionary left in South Africa.
In short time Fr .peter left to see his dentist. We went to see the Good Sheppard Hospice. This particular sister is the founder of this program.  We went around and see the program. It was wonderful.
As we come back in the house, Fr. Angle is there in the house. He was a missionary in India a for some 11 years and now he is in SA. He was happy to see me. We share some gifts for each other.
During the lunch we had pizza. Fr. John has ordered for pizza and it was good .
After the lunch we went around to see the black people’s church. The church was closed and so we could not go inside.
As we come home we had some tea and in sometime Fr. Angle left the house.
After sometime we too left Middleburg.
On the way we come to the house of Fr. Colin. He is living in the retreat house called Amazing Grace. This is was a farm and he bought it for some cheap price. He is also a carpenter. He has build some good houses there and he builds there new furniture for the house. He is really working hard there. He is also an exorcist. He has a group of people who goes around praying and making intercessions. So this was a wonderful experience to him.
On the way we come to see Gariep Dam. This is the biggest dam in south Africa. This is huge and marvelous work done there. Nearby the dam we came to a puff. But none is ready to serve us because there were youth who were sitting for alcohol. An half naked girl was there serving them. For sure she is going to get more money by serving the liquor than serving us food. We just left that puff. We came to another hotel and had our dinner and we travel back to house. On the way Fr. Peter  kept music in the car and I sleep. Because the day was very tiring. As we come home we have Bor. Jay raj from India. Ok the day was rather busy and tiring. But a good and enjoyed trip.
