Three days of visit to Kollam

On24th morning I started my journey to Kollam. I had gone with three of the main intentions. The bus is from Kumbalanghy start at 5 in the morning. So we are first passengers in the bus. Now we had a nice trip to Kollam. We reached there on time. We were in the house of another SCJ priest. The place is very good with beach and harbour. We had a delicious breakfast. And then at 10.30 we had Eucharistic celebration at St. Sebastian church. First time I had the grace of celebrate the Eucharist there. It was the 30^th day of his sister’s father in law. After that we went to visit one of another scj companion’s house. Of course , then to my house. We were there for a short time. As we come back to Kollam, there is a proposal to go for a movie. Yes, we go. This is the first time that I go to a movie theatre for movie after my Priestly ordination. Karyastan, a Malayalam movie. It is only average movie. We come home for a grand dinner. Then next day, we have a wedding celebration in Pavumba, this is the second time that I go to this place. First time I went to this place after my Priestly ordination. Because FR. Jose Richard scj is from this place. I was here along with him for his first Eucharistic celebration. Indeed this was a good marriage celebration. After the marriage celebration, I went back to my home. So that night I was at home. Next day morning I have mass celebration in the convent. SRA sisters are very good in our parish, they have hospital, Old age home, nursery, they are very hospitable too. So I had Eucharistic celebration and then I am at home. Just one hour, then I have to come to Kollam again, for this is another scj companions’ dad’s birthday. So we had a short time there, because, we got a phone call telling that our companion from Aluva need to be there before 6’o clock, for they have an urgent meeting. The rector of the seminary is going for renewing his visa, so we had to leave the house early and reach here early. Indeed three days of holidays and visits come to an end. But something very beautiful. Because though we all have good relation among ourselves, we do not get time to come together and enjoy. But those three days remain in me with some sweet and fragrance of good friendship.
