TOWARDS LIFE & WISDOME

This is the motto of the school year of 2005-2006 in Vijananilayam. After the long holidays we started our new school year on 17th June 2005. And it was a grate day of joy for all of us, for we meet our friends after a long time. And so it is with grate expectation and joy we go back to our college. And it was a grate day for all of us. And at 8.15 we left our house to college. And we were the first to one joins in the college.
And as if it is the custom of the place, the program was half-hour late. And at 9.30 we started with the Eucharist. And the Bishop of Khamm was the main celebrant. And the Bishop of Eluru was also present and many of our professors and teachers and almost all the superiors and rectors of the seminaries were present. And during his sermon the bishop was emphasizing on need for Christ experience in our life. And it was a quite a long sermon and I could see many priests and brothers were nodding during his sermon.
And after the Holy Eucharist we had a short tea break and we all enjoyed the time because we were meeting almost after three months. And I had the camera of Fr.Kus and so had to take some photos. And it was good.
Then we had our inaugural functions. And it was very cordial. And it was also very grant. One of the councilors of last year led the program and it was good. But unfortunately this had a bad consequent that it was too long and some sermons could have avoided. And I feel that it is not necessary to have too many speeches on this kind of functions. Because already there is a big sermon of half an hour in the chapel and then again lots of sermons and again extending such program will be giving some kind of uneasy to the participants. And we all were sad to hear the replacement of our dean. Because we all were happy about our previous dean and happy about him. The problem I see with the new dean is that all are not happy with him. Because he as such is good but too demanding. And also some time he works on his feelings. And that gives a bad impression on his classes. But his appearance in the stage was good and appealing. But how he is going to work will be another matter in the school year. And the students at the end will be evaluating.
And the program was concluded at 12.45. And it was good day and all have words of thanks to one and all. And specially it good to see that we are all back to our college. It was sad to see that our companion from Eluru diocese is given one year of regency and another fellow from another diocese is sent out of his seminary. Other wise we are (2nd year theologians) are 37.
Thanks to God for His marvelous way of working in our life.
