Tragedy

As I was in room reading something, I got a phone call from my sister. She was telling about a boy who left our congregation and had been at home for a quite time. Now he has tried to kill himself by consuming poison. Just in one hour I got another phone call from his family, telling that he is in need of medicine and weather we could do any financial help for them. I did not what to tell them. In the evening I heard that he is dead.
Now the story goes something like this, this fellow was in our communities studying, but he was in love with a girl. He was so mad about her that he left the congregation. He starts to study MCA and recently he heard that she is going to get married. So he sends his parents to her house asking her to get marry with him. But she denied him, telling that she does not know him. He was so shocked  that he decided to commit suicide by having poison. As I heard that , he eat poison by mixing in the cola.

Now in the night my superior comes to me asking to go there for the funeral. I was shocked to see how his family loved him, but he could not realise their love for him. All his family crying and yelling for him. I was fortunate or unfortunate to be there to witness these things. I celebrated the Eucharist and buried him in the parish cemetery of him, Kaithakody.
