Fest of Our Lady of sorrows.

The parish of Pazhagad here in Cochin is a very old one and many of the people are very faithful to the church and its practises. From 13th to 19th was the feast celebrated in church, the feast of the Our Lady of Sorrows. But as the feast was on its way, I had to go to Goa. Now the feast was a good experience. I attended two days of celebration on Friday and on Saturday. The main feast day was on Sunday, but since I have two Eucharistic celebrations on Sunday, I decided not go for the feast, because I was already there for a procession on the Saturday evening after the mass. So I was at the seminary. I have also to go to hospital because one of the brothers had an operation and he is admitted in the hospital. The feast is celebrated with great procession with carrying of the statues of Our Lady and with bands and drums and people all praying and walking. It is a good experience but I was home.

I am emotionally attached to this parish, because I received my diocanate Ordination in this parish. ST.George parish, Pazhagad
