We the Eluru Community was quite busy in these days. Because we had pre planned to celebrate Christmas with some outside people. On 21st of December our classes were over for this year and we have got some 10 days of holidays. In the next day our three fathers and some of our brothers went to a poor school were our Telugu teacher is teaching. We were there around 10 in the morning. The children had their way of performing Christmas carols and dances and songs. And we went there to celebrate our Christmas with them. We distributed some notebooks and pens and pencils for each one.

We were also invited to have lunch with them. For sure the state government assists the school and the students have free lunch. And saying the truth many of the children come to the school because of the lunch and not for mere study alone. And now we had a nice time with them.

And we the SCJ Indian District is going to help the school in order to repair their broken roof and most probably we will also help them in giving uniforms and support and prayers. All the readers of it are kindly invited in helping our mission in this school.

Very sadly we have to tell you that in this particular village the girl children get married at very initial ages of their life. And many of the children do not have even the primary education. So if you feel that God invites you in changing this bad situation of this village and the children, you can contribute money, you can pray, you can write a supporting letter to this children and so on. And God inspires you can do.

The Broken roof of the school

In the same day some of our brothers were with some orphanage children near by here where some our brothers do their sunday Ministry. And for sure they too had a nice experiecne and the children had a sweet Crhistmas.

On 26th the Children came to our house from their orphanage. And for sure there were enough time to spent with them. And as we had already prepared we had also invited the nearby sisters and some children to celbrate with us. And the sisters are called MALLE JESU SISTERS. It is with them and with 12 orphan childen that we had Christmas celebration on the 26th Afternoon. And it was wonderful and for sure all of them were very happy to come to our small house and so they had some games and songs and dances. And at the end we gave some small gifts for them. and at 2 PM they left us. OOHH very sad it is.

But the christmas of 2005 will remain in the history of Eluru SCJ Theologate as Christmas of Children.
